A stable tooth replacement starts with diagnosis

When I meet with a patient about dental implants at Village Family Dental, my first goal is not to sell a specific procedure. My goal is to understand why the tooth or teeth were lost, what the surrounding bone and gum tissue look like, how the bite functions, and what the patient wants to be able to do with their smile again.

Dental implants can replace one tooth, support multiple teeth, or help stabilize a full arch of teeth. The best option depends on health, anatomy, budget, timeline, and long-term maintenance.

What I evaluate before recommending implants

I look at bone support, gum health, medical history, smile line, bite forces, spacing, and how the final tooth or teeth need to function. If a patient is considering All-on-X or full-arch treatment, we also talk about whether a fixed implant-supported option is a better fit than a removable denture.

My advice to patients

Do not wait until a missing tooth has created more shifting, bone loss, or bite problems. A consultation gives us a chance to explain what is possible and what should be done first.

If you are missing teeth or worried about failing teeth, schedule a dental implant consultation with me at Village Family Dental in Briarcliff. We will review your options and build a plan that makes sense for your health and goals.
